Raw Samba are proud of their role in introducing new people to Samba and give a warm welcome to new members. Raw Samba are primarily an adult band but we do welcome younger members provided they are accompanied by a participating parent and are of age to be able to fully take part in our training.
Training takes place weekly throughout most of the year, currently on a Tuesday evening. Members pay a monthly membership fee which covers the training costs and certain other expenses.
For beginners wishing to join the band please contact us through the email or our mobile number. We can provide a selection of drums, but beginners do have to supply their own beaters and straps.
Our training sessions are led by Emma More, our Musical Director.
